RF thermocoagulation target treatment technology is to precisely locate the RF needle at the pathogenic site with the help of the electric stimulus function of the RF temperature-control thermocoagulator and the impedance monitoring system, and to achieve accurate control of the injured lesions by adjusting the magnitude of the RF output power and setting the acting temperature. More specifically, use only one special puncture needle with a diameter of 0.8mm to accurately puncture into the center of the intervertebral disc protrusions under the supervision of digital imaging or CT, and perform a series of safety tests by placing a RF electrode with a diameter of 0.4mm into the puncture needle. Once confirmed to be safe, directly perform thermocoagulation temperature-control treatment to cause molecular motion and friction heat in the tissue cells of the protruding intervertebral discs, and still further degradation, setting, contraction and volume reduction in the tissues of the protruded disks. Consequently, nervous compressions are relieved without doing any damage to the normal intervertebral discs and peripheral nerves. After thermal coagulation, compressed nerves or protruded intervertebral discs tissues will contract and experience obvious displacement from the nerve roots; meanwhile, athermogenetic effect will react favorably to the damaged fibrous ring, dropsical nerve root, intraspinal inflammation, delivering good therapeutic results. The whole process of treatment lasts only for ten minutes or so ,during which the patient will experience no obvious discomfort and the patient's symptoms will be quickly relieved or eliminated. This treatment does involves no operation, and thus there will be no pains or side effects. The patient only has to stay in hospital for three days and will not relapse easily.
